"HEAT" was released in August, 2004. Artists, such as, Tim Cunningham (saxophone), Steve Johnston (guitar), Dennis Gill (flugel horn and trumpet), and Tylissa Tee Schaffer (vocalist) are featured guests on the "Heat" CD. Marvin is also accompanied by his daughter, Maurya Cockrell (age 11) on several cuts. "Heat" is hot, powerful, full of energy, yet smooth. The CD exudes the essence of Marvin F.  Cockrell.  "Heat" just may be his greatest musical achievement to date.
